Settlers Prime will someday be a fully functioning translation of Settlers of Catan, available in all its Cocoa glory for OSX. I swear.

I found out that some of the tables in the spec blew right by the margain into some kind of oblivion where no one can read them. That problem should now be fixed. Updated version here. As always, comments are welcome.

Are you excited? I'm excited.

I finally finished and posted version 1.0 of the SRS. Click here please. (Software Requirements Specification) This is a pretty important document for the project. It describes everything I think the game should be able to do and a couple of things I specifically think it shouldn't. Anyone who is interested in the final result should check it out. Despite a quick editing pass, I'm sure there are minor grammatical errors and spelling mistakes all over. If you see one let me know at kingofmalkier@users.sourceforge.net. Alternatively, there is a mailing list you can join by going here. I'd prefer critiques on any of the requirements, but even if you nitpick my spelling, at least I'll know someone read it.

Well, I've already messed something up learned something. This link right here will get you a PDF version of the current SRS, instead of that lyx file that isn't so fun to read.

I've put up a very early version of the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) on sourceforge. I'm still learning the release system over there, so forgive me if some of the names for packages and whatnot don't make perfect sense. The SRS can be obtained by clicking here. Please send me any comments or suggestions at josh.gagnon -AT- gmail.com. (I think you can figure out what I'm going for there.)
